SRAM Elixir / XX / Level T+TL organic brake pads are designed for compatible two-piston SRAM and Avid disc brakes. Their organic compound offers progressive, silent, and easy-to-modulate braking, even in wet weather, while limiting thermal stress on the brake.

They use an aluminum backing, which is lighter than a steel backing. On the other hand, organic pads wear out faster and offer less braking power than sintered metallic pads: they are best suited for cross-country, light trail, urban commuting, and recreational use.
