On May 23rd, Routes&Roads celebrated its anniversary at its store located on Place de Rungis, in the heart of Paris's 13th arrondissement. For the occasion, the community gathered for a day dedicated to cycling, conviviality, and sharing.
Gravel enthusiasts, bikepacking lovers, cycling travelers, and store regulars all turned up to participate in a group ride and enjoy an atmosphere true to the spirit that has driven Routes&Roads since its creation.
Over the years, Routes&Roads has progressively established itself as a meeting place for cyclists in Île-de-France. More than just a store, the project was built around a simple idea: to create a space where enthusiasts can meet, exchange, and share their passion for cycling.
This anniversary day perfectly reflected this spirit. On the program: a group ride through Paris and its surroundings, discussions among enthusiasts, meetings, moments of sharing, and several surprises organized throughout the day.
But one of the most memorable moments happened completely unexpectedly.
Among the participants, one person had come without a bike. To be able to join the group ride, he had chosen to rent a bike directly from Routes&Roads.
A few hours later, the day took an unexpected turn.
During the raffle organized at the event, he was precisely the one who was designated the winner of the main prize: a Welt Ranger 2.0. Having arrived in the morning without his own bike, he finally left with his own bike at the end of the day.
A story that quickly brought smiles to all participants and gave this day a particularly memorable end.
"We want Routes&Roads to be much more than just a store," explains Anton Vinogradov, founder of Routes&Roads. "We want to create a place where enthusiasts meet, exchange, and share experiences. This story perfectly summarizes the spirit we are trying to build around the project."
Conceived as a true living space dedicated to cycling, Routes&Roads continues to regularly organize outings, meetings, and events to bring together a community around travel, adventure, and the pleasure of riding together.
After this wonderful celebration on May 23rd, the team is now looking forward to seeing its community at upcoming events and outings.
The adventure continues. 🚴
