SHIMANO CS-HG300-9 9-Speed Cassette

The 9-speed CS-HG400 cassette replaces the CS-HG61-9 and CS-HG50-9 cassettes. Thanks to larger cutouts in the individual sprockets, a weight saving of approximately 11% has been achieved. (Compared to the HG50-9 for 11-34 teeth).

The CS-HG400 cassette is available in various gear ratios and offers a drivetrain suitable for 26"/27.5" and 29" bikes. The cassette is compatible with HG/IG chains, which ensure quieter, faster downshifting and smoother upshifting.

The specially shaped Hyperglide sprockets feature unique tooth profiles as well as strategically positioned shift ramps, which optimize chain guidance during shifting. This allows for fast and precise indexed shifting.
