Description
The Maxxis Rekon Race Dual EXO/TR is a semi-slick XC tire designed for dry courses and short track events. Its profile, the lowest in the Maxxis cross-country range, draws inspiration from the Rekon trail with shorter, more closely spaced knobs to promote efficiency on fast, rolling terrain.
The 120 TPI casing combines EXO protection on the sidewalls with a Dual Compound rubber, which combines two rubber compounds in the tread. The Tubeless Ready version is designed for tubeless mounting with sealant. Its soft bead makes it easier to transport the tire when folded.
Recommended for both front and rear mounting, the Rekon Race Dual EXO/TR is also suitable for e-bikes with assistance limited to 25 km/h. It is a relevant choice when priority is given to speed on dry XC trails, compact circuits, and short track courses.
