The PureGrip compound, derived from an activated Silica compound and developed from user feedback, offers remarkably secure grip and high durability, complementing the famous BlackChili in the Continental range.

The ShieldWall system adds a layer of puncture protection all around, in the form of a finely woven cross-woven fabric, combining high puncture resistance, low rolling resistance, and a light weight. Despite this extra layer, the tire retains excellent damping properties and high flexibility, adapting perfectly to the terrain.

The revolutionary Tubeless Ready bead allows for simple and reliable mounting; for optimal results in terms of sealing and performance, Continental recommends the use of RevoSealant sealant.

Thanks to a robust but lightweight casing, the Race King ShieldWall remains versatile, has an attractive design, can be used tubeless or with inner tube and is also suitable for E-bikes up to 25 km/h (and, in the e50 version, for S-Pedelecs).
